Edgars Creek Secondary College is a new 7-12 school in Wollert. The School is an integral component of a broader vision of educational provision in the rapidly expanding City of Whittlesea. The school is working in partnership with the community to provide authentic learning opportunities and best academic and personal outcomes for all students. It forms part of a wider Education and Community precinct at the heart of Aurora, and provides a civic presence at the corner of Edgars Road and Macedon Parade.

This project was the first of 2 stages and consisted of the Administration and Resource Centre, a STEM building with specialist facilities in Science and Technology, as well as passive and active recreation areas and a full-size synthetic AFL / cricket oval. The spaces have been specifically designed to cater for contemporary teaching and learning approaches with a focus on interdisciplinary project based learning in the areas of design, technology and the sciences. Aurora Estate is a six star environmental exemplar, and the school design includes a number of environmental initiatives to reduce resource use and provide an educational resource for the students.
