Developed in collaboration with the Victoria School Building Authority, Cardinia Shire Council and the Officer community, this new primary school precinct has been designed with leaners and learning in mind to promote diversity, wellbeing and community engagement.
Located in an area of urban growth, to the south of Officer Town Centre, the Bridgewood Primary School has been conceived as the vibrant heart of this growing community. Designed to accommodate a long-term student enrolment of 470 students, the new masterplan provides close integration with the adjacent public reserve. It takes a strong community focus, providing an integrated maternal child health care and early learning facility for 109 pre-school children as part of a fully integrated educational model that supports learning from birth.
Public, private and privileged spaces within the school precinct have been considered together with the location and potential for the community to utilise the school facilities after school hours.
