We are pleased to share that Barwon Health has recently completed a significant expansion of the Paediatric Emergency Department, with the project finalised in 2024. This development enhances the facility with 28 additional treatment spaces, reflecting the commitment to delivering exceptional emergency care for children.

AES was thrilled to take on the full lighting supply for the newly designed Children’s Emergency Department, where the work played a crucial role in creating a private, serene, and supportive environment for young patients and their families. Every aspect of our lighting supply, including the distinctive ‘tree’ motif, was carefully crafted and executed to the highest standards, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the environment. The thorough lighting supplied included the installation of LED panels and Linear lights throughout the space for superior illumination and energy efficiency, as well as a variety of linear lighting options.

This expansion is part of Barwon Health’s ongoing efforts to advance the facilities and services. We are also actively involved in other key projects, including the Barwon Health Central and the Mental Health Hub, further demonstrating the dedication to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and patient care.
