We are excited to highlight our recent work on Reine and La Rue, a distinguished addition to Melbourne’s vibrant dining scene. Nestled behind the iconic ANZ Banking Chamber at Queen and Collins Streets, the Cathedral Room at this historic Melbourne Stock Exchange building offers a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

This heritage-listed space has been transformed into a chic restaurant and cocktail bar, blending modern elegance with historic charm. Our involvement included addressing the building’s heritage conditions, which meant traditional fixing methods could not be utilised. Specifically, we utilised split battens to suspend acoustic panels, as direct adhesion to the walls was not permitted due to the building’s historical significance.

Our solution ensured that the acoustic integrity of the space was maintained while preserving the building’s architectural heritage. The result is a beautifully curated environment that enhances the overall dining experience and respects the historical context of the venue.

We are proud to have contributed to a project that celebrates Melbourne’s rich history while offering a sophisticated modern dining experience.
