We are enthusiastic to feature our involvement in the Narrandjeri Stadium project in Thornbury, a significant development that underscores our commitment to supporting community engagement and recognizing cultural heritage.

Narrandjeri Stadium features four indoor multi-purpose courts designed to accommodate a diverse range of sports and activities. The facility stands as a testament to the vital role that women and girls play in court sports within the Thornbury area, reflecting a high proportion of users from these groups.

The name “Narrandjeri” is derived from the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung language, meaning ‘Women Leader.’ This designation not only honours the Traditional Owners’ history in the region but also emphasizes the stadium’s role in promoting and supporting the participation of women and girls in sport.

We are honoured to contribute to a project that celebrates both the cultural heritage of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people and the empowerment of women and girls through sport.
